Welcome to CTEPH.com
CTEPH, or chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension, is a rare type of pulmonary hypertension (PH).
It can be overwhelming to find out you have CTEPH, and you probably have a lot of questions. By being informed, you can learn to successfully manage your condition. Talk to your doctor if you have any questions or if you want to learn more about CTEPH.
The most common symptoms of CTEPH are similar to those of PH, including shortness of breath with exercise, fatigue, or weakness. While CTEPH can be life-threatening, it’s the only type of PH that can be cured in some people with a type of surgery called PTE, or pulmonary thromboendarterectomy.
